Bandari FC striker Amza Moubarack has opened the lid on the outrageous demands that engineered his failed transfer to record Tanzanian Premier League champions, Young Africans (Yanga).

Moubarack was close to making a dream move to Yanga, in the January mid-season transfer of the 2023 window, from Coastal Union.

However, the deal did not sail through much to the disappointment of the Cameroonian striker.

In an exclusive interview with Mozzart Sport, the 26-year old revealed the demands Coastal Union made to Yanga for his release.

To release me Coastal Union demanded a new bus, Tsh200 million (approximately Ksh9.8 million) as well as 20% of transfer fee in my next move,” said Moubarack.

The 2026 Mozzart Bet Cup top scorer revealed the details after he was spotted with Yanga President Engineer Hersi Said, who graced the final.

He was also pictured talking to Harambee Stars captain, Michael Olunga.

Meanwhile, the former Namungo striker disclosed what the Yanga boss told him in the brief chat.

"Do not be discouraged by the failed move to Yanga. I believe luck was not on your side that time. Continue working hard and stay focused on your development. I am still following your progress closely.I believe your opportunity will come in due course," said Hersi.

Before the awards ceremony, Moubarack was on target as Bandari edged KCB 2-0 in the third-llace playoff match.

His strike saw him take his tally to six goals. Kariobangi Sharks' Humphrey Aroko also managed six goals in the tournament.

For third place finish, the Dockers were awarded Ksh1.5 million while KCB walked hime Ksh1 million richer.

Champions Tusker bagged Ksh3 million while Police FC won Ksh2 million, courtesy of leading gaming firm, Mozzart Bet.
