The 21-year-old is in line to win a cup with Philadelphia Union.
Kenyan international Richard Odada watched as his Philadelphia Union punched a ticket to the finals of the Major Soccer League (MLS) Cup Eastern Conference finals.
Richard Odada
The former AFC Leopards Youth midfielder was an unused substitute when his Philadelphia Union stormed the MLS Cup Eastern Conference final following a hard fought 1-0 win over FC Cincinnati.
Odada who joined the club back in August from reigning Serbian champions Red Star Belgrade is yet to make a senior appearance for the club but has made a number of MLS Next Pro appearances for the junior side.
The first half of the encounter was pedestrian with little to write home about bar the yellow card shown to Nick Hagglund in the 25th minute for fouling his opponent.
Philadelphia posted a strong start to the second half as they went on to break the deadlock a minute before the hour mark when Leon Flach put the ball in the back of the net.
The head coach Jim Curtin failed to utilize Odada as Philadelphia held on for the win to advance to the Eastern Conference Finals where they will face Los Angeles Galaxy with the winner earning a place in the overall final.
Bruce Kamau
Kenyan midfielder Bruce Kamau missed the match day squad as his OFI Crete side were knocked out of the Greek Cup following a 1-0 loss to Kifisias.
The lone goal of the match was netted in the 64th minute by Michalis Kouiroukidis which was enough to aid Kifisias out of the Fifth Round stage of the competition.
