Ouma highlights areas of concern against Tusker

The Brewers have the best scoring record this season so far

Sofapaka FC tactician David Ouma believes that Tusker's direct approach in matches and their clinical ability in front of goal will make the Sunday encounter between the two sides a tough one.

Batoto Ba Mungu host the Brewers at Kasarani Annex in one of the two matches slated at the venue on Sunday afternoon, with both teams seeking to bounce back to winning ways after drawing in their respective midweek matches.

The Brewers have scored the most goals in the league this season, 15, averaging 1.67 goals per match, the best in the division so far and that, coupled with their direct approach, is a thing of concern for Ouma.

"I expect an equally tough encounter on Sundays against the Breweries because they are a direct-oriented team and very clinical in front of goal. They have been on a good run over the last two encounters, which will make Sunday’s match a tight battle because they will be coming all out to get back to winning ways and we too will be working towards bouncing back to winning ways too, so I expect a close tie," Ouma said as quoted on the club's website.

Ahead of the match, the former Harambee Starlets coach is contented with the cohesion around his team and has urged his charges to continue the hard work and top it up by collecting maximum points.

"I am pleased at the way we’ve built up the cohesion in the team, and I want the lads to keep on working on our finishing in order to collect maximum points because we have been consistently creating scoring opportunities," he added.
