The awards recognized players and technical staff who played pivotal roles in the club’s historic season.
Leading the list of winners was forward Philip Wasai, who was crowned the club’s Most Valuable Player (MVP).
The towering striker enjoyed a remarkable season, scoring 10 goals and accounting for more than a quarter of APS Bomet’s total league tally of 37 goals.
His consistency and influence in the final third made him a deserving recipient of the club’s top individual honour.
Wasai is a Police Corporal attached to Bomet Central Station.
Maxwell Muchesia Mulili was named the best goalkeeper following a stellar second half of the season.
The shot-stopper, who joined the club on loan from Shabana midway through the campaign, played a crucial role in Bomet’s resurgence and registered nine clean sheets.
At the heart of the defence, Ugandan international Edward Masembe scooped the best defender award.
The commanding centre-back was instrumental in organizing the backline and played a key role during the club’s impressive 11-match unbeaten run that ultimately steered them away from relegation danger.
Former Mathare United and Kakamega Homeboyz midfielder Francis Omondi was recognized as the club’s best midfielder after delivering a series of influential performances throughout the season.
Youngster Festus Kipkemoi emerged as one of the evening’s biggest winners, claiming both the Young Player of the season and goal of the Season awards for his stunning strike against Mathare United.
Clifford Odhiambo was voted best signing, while Maxwell Kubasu was confirmed as the most improved player.
The club also paid tribute to head coach Sammy 'Pamzo' Omollo for masterminding Bomet’s remarkable turnaround.
After a turbulent opening phase of the season, Omollo guided the side away from the relegation zone and into a respectable 10th-place finish.
His achievements have earned him a nomination for the FKF Premier League Coach of the Season award, where he is set to compete against Gor Mahia’s Charles Akonnor and AFC Leopards’ Fred Ambani at the end-of-season gala scheduled for 4 June.
