Nairobi United were crowned NSL champions with two matches to play, but will lift the trophy after their match against Naivas at Dandora Stadium.

However, the 90 minutes will be more significant to Naivas, who are currently third, occupying the playoff slot and eyeing to keep it.

Naivas, who unsuccessfully competed in last season’s playoffs, have 59 points, same as fourth placed Darajani Gogo with only goal difference separating the two.

The two teams have two points more than Fortune Sacco, who are also eyeing the playoff slot.

The fact that the match brings together the first and third team on the table alone is a testament of the fireworks expected in Dandora.

Naibois' Frank Ouya’s eighth minute goal was the difference when the two sides met in the first leg.

Darajani Gogo vs Luanda Villa

Fourth-placed Darajani Gogo will host Luanda Villa at the Marist International University, Karen with all eyes fixed on securing a playoff position.

Tied with third placed Naivas at 59 points, the Kibera-based side will be working on getting the three points and hope that Naivas drop points against Naibois in order to secure the third position.

However, coach Paul Ogai said Gogo will only be focusing on themselves, even as he termed the match as a final.

“The match will be like a final for us. We don’t care what happens in the other games. Our focus is on our game, and hopefully seal a playoff place,” Ogai told The Star.

For ninth-placed Luanda Villa, they will be looking for a win that would keep them in the top 10, and a double over Gogo following their 4-2 victory in the first leg.

Kisumu All Stars vs Fortune Sacco

At the lakeside city of Kisumu, Kisumu All Stars will play host to Fortune Sacco at the Moi Stadium.

Fortune Sacco sit fifth with 57 points, and are in contention for a promotion playoff slot albeit with lower chances than Naivas and Gogo.

Fortune had their fate in their hands but bottled it up at a crucial time when they suffered a 2-1 home loss to Darajani Gogo in their last match.

For Otenga, they will be keen to finish the season with a win, and end their three-match winless run.

APS Bomet vs SS Assad

APS Bomet, who have already secured promotion to the FKF Premier League, will welcome SS Assad at Bomet Stadium.

This will be the first match that APS play at Bomet since their promotion, and most likely their last, as it is highly unlikely the ground will be approved to host FKF Premier League matches next season, due to unfinished construction structures.

Coastal side SS Assad, on the other hand, have already been relegated to FKF Division 1, and will be enjoying a top-flight match for the last time, at least for a minimum of one season.

With the fate of both teams already known, the match will majorly be about bragging rights.

Mombasa United vs Kibera Black Stars

Due to the limitation of venues, Coastal side Mombasa United will play sixth-placed Kibera Black Stars at Ukunda Grounds.

Currently 16th, Mombasa United will be eying a Black Stars scalp to end their five-match losing streak and avenge for their 1-0 loss in the first leg.

3K FC vs MOFA

NSL newbies 3K FC will conclude their maiden NSL season with a clash against MOFA at Moi Stadium, Embu.

Placed 10th, 3K will be hoping to finish in an even better position with a win, while seventh-placed MOFA will equally be aiming for the best possible end of what has been a disappointing season for them.

In other matches of the day, Migori Youth hosts Nzoia at Migori Stadium, as Mombasa Stars lock horns with Samwest Blackboots at Serani Sports Club, Mombasa.
