Three Atletico Madrid players won't be at Lionel Scaloni's disposal for a friendly match against the Black Sable Antelopes because they weren't vaccinated against yellow fever in time

For the first time since March 2019 and the clash against Morocco in Tangier, which Angel Correa decided with his late winner, Argentina will face an African national team. La Albiceleste will once again visit the Mother Continent, this time facing Angola in Luanda on Friday (19.00).

It will be an incredible event for the entire country, as the packed Estadio Nacional 11 de Novembro will be in for a treat and have a chance to see some genuine superstars of world football - Lionel Messi in the first place, as well as Nicolas Otamendi, Christian Romero, Alexis Mac Allister, Lautaro Martinez, and others.

However, despite being called up, Atletico Madrid players Julian Alvarez, Nahuel Molina, and Giuliano Simeone won't appear before the home crowd, as they were banned from entering Angola because they didn't complete the required health procedures, i.e., they weren't vaccinated against yellow fever in time, which is a mandatory measure.

Argentina boss Lionel Scaloni reacted shortly and called up the middle of the three Mac Allister brothers, Kevin, a player of the Belgian Royale Union Saint-Gilloise.

Either way, even without the trio, a spectacle in Luanda is guaranteed. Argentina and Angola have met only once so far, in May 2006 in Italy, during both teams' pre-World Cup training period, when the South American country triumphed 2-0, behind Maxi Rodriguez and Juan Pablo Sorin's goals.
