Bad day in office for Abuya and Mandela as Nkana and Sundowns are humbled
Battle-hardened Harambee Stars defender Joash Onyango grabbed an assist as Simba edged a combative Mwadui by a solitary goal in a league match staged at the Kambarage grounds.
Onyango who clocked full minutes rose high to head in a corner kick delivered by Bernard Morrison in the 66th minute only for John Bocco to direct the ball into the net.

Following the hard-fought win, the Tanzanian champions are now two points adrift of league leaders and their sworn enemies Yanga who sit at the summit with 54 points.
Simba, home to another Kenyan international Francis Kahata have an opportunity to open a seven point gap at the top should they win all their three matches in hand.
Mamelodi Sundowns 6-5 Tshakhuma (post-match penalties)
While Onyango inspired Simba to the win, his counterpart Brian Mandela came in the second half as South African champions Mamelodi Sundowns bade farewell to the Nedbank Cup.
Sundowns lost 6-5 to Tshakhuma FC on post match penalties after settling for a barren draw within regular time.
Mandela who was thrown in the 103rd minute for Aubrey Modiba thought he had netted the winner two minutes after introduction but was adjudged to be offside.
