The Croat arrived at the Allianz Stadium in March 2025. The interim manager, Massimiliano Brambilla, will be on the bench against Udinese on Wednesday

Juventus have sacked their manager, Igor Tudor, after the Bianconeri's defeat to Lazio on Sunday. The Croatian joined the Old Turin Lady in March as Thiago Motta's replacement. Juve did not manage to attract a more famous coaching name this summer, so they continued cooperating with Tudor.

His campaign with Juve kicked off nicely, but an eight-match winless run, embellished by three defeats in a row in all competitions, resulted in his sacking.

Juve are six points behind leaders Napoli, and have failed to win in their last five league matches. Moreover, they are 25th in the Champions League group stage table.

"The club thanks Igor Tudor and his entire staff for their professionalism and dedication over the past few months and wishes them all the best for their future careers," a Juventus statement read.

The club added that Massimiliano Brambilla will manage the team for their Serie A fixture against Udinese on Wednesday (6.30 pm).

Whoever comes as a permanent replacement for Tudor will face the same problems. Players who can't carry the weight of a Juventus shirt.

"Juventus does not have a coach problem. I know Tudor as a man and a coach. The situation is much more complex. This team will not be champions even with a new coach. Juventus still does not have a clear starting 11. Not because Tudor does not want it, but because these footballers at Juventus cannot play consistently well. Look at the strongest teams in Europe and Italy and you will see that almost all of them have a crystallised starting 11", said Alessandro Del Piero last night, a man who knows and feels Juventus much better than others and knows what the DNA of this club is.
