Defending champions Police FC will square it out with Tusker FC, as Sofapaka tussle with Bandari FC.

Ahead of today's matches, Gor Mahia are still at the summit of the league table with 56 points, four more than second placed AFC Leopards with Shabana coming a distant third with 43 points.

At the other end of the table, Sofapaka are bottom with 15 points and are joined in the relegation zone with Bidco United and Sofapaka with 22 points apiece.

Police FC vs Tusker

The day's biggest highlight will be the clash between defending champions Police FC and 12-time league champions Tusker at the Police Sacco Stadium from 1615 hrs.

Police have had a season to forget, falling short of expectations and find themselves fifth on the log with 40 points, a whopping 16 points shy of league leaders Gor Mahia.

However, the law enforcers head into the match on a good form having won three of their last five matches including a 2-1 victory over KCB FC in their last match.

They face a Tusker side that has been equally struggling this season and sit ninth on the log with 37 points.

Tusker have also won three of their past five league matches and suffered a 1-0 defeat to Kenyan giants AFC Leopards in their last match.

Sofapaka vs Bandari

2009 league champions Sofapaka FC will play host to coastal city of Mombasa outfit Bandari FC at the Kasarani Annex from 1400 hrs.

Sofapaka are seeking a win that would boost their survival chances and rescue themselves from the wide jaws of relegation that seem positioned to swallow them.

Batoto Ba Mungu are at the bottom of the table and are on a poor form having failed to win any of their last 18 matches, with their last win traced back to 10 November, a 2-0 win over Posta Rangers.

Sofapaka face seventh placed Bandari FC who shook off a four-match winless streak with a 1-0 win over Bidco United.

Bandari will be out to complete a season double over Sofapaka having won the first leg with a 2-0 scoreline.
