A comfortable 2-0 home win against Sevilla puts Mikel Arteta's side in a perfect position ahead of the two ultimate group-stage games. Saka's injury worries the fans
Arsenal have celebrated a comfortable, deserved 2-0 home victory against Sevilla on Wednesday night, thus unlocking the doors of the Champions League knockout stage.
Mikel Arteta's side netted a goal in each half through Leandro Trossard and Bukayo Saka, proving a blatant difference in levels and class. Dominant and determined, the Gunners were going places at Emirates, while the Spaniards spent most of the time trying to prevent a catastrophe in the making. Those two, they conceded, were proof of Arsenal's quality and mentality.

On the other hand, the Andalusians recorded a single shot on target for the entire 90 minutes! And it happened deep into stoppage time. Too shy, too bad, too cowardly.
When it comes to Arteta and his boys, the pressure on their back was visible from the start, bearing in mind those two straight losses (in the EFL Cup and the EPL). Everything turned to normal, however, around the 30-minute mark, as Jorginho's sublime through ball found Saka on the right wing. He slid it across the middle and Trossard's tap-in made it 1-0.

The second goal was also a fine example of perfect teamwork, as Gabriel Martinelli jumped onto a quick throw-in. He spun away and linked up with Saka, who cut inside, beat the full-back and slotted it past goalkeeper Dmitrovic in a lovely fashion.

Unfortunately for the home team, Saka limped off the pitch later, but it's still too early to judge about the seriousness of the injury.
