You can be brilliant at Barcelona, Amorim doesn't care

Manchester United — and above all Ruben Amorim — do not want Rashford in their squad, despite his strong performances at Barcelona
Regarding Ruben Amorim, there’s no reason for Marcus Rashford to return to Old Trafford. The reason: he won’t play, even though he has blossomed at Barcelona.
English media insist that the Portuguese coach is firm in his stance, unwilling to give the 28-year-old forward another chance and not seeing him in his plans for the next season, as his loan spell with the Catalans will conclude in the meantime.

Reportedly, Amorim told Manchester United’s management that he is not considering the return of the former captain, as there is simply no place for him in his plans. In fact, the two clashed almost immediately after the former Sporting head coach arrived in England.
Even though Rashford scored three goals in his first two matches under the new manager last year — against Ipswich and Everton — Amorim quickly sidelined him, and by the January transfer window, Rashford was loaned to Aston Villa, where he finished the previous season.
It became clear then that he wouldn’t stay in Manchester, which is when Barcelona stepped in and secured him on a loan deal last summer, with an option to buy. The Spanish champions are expected to pay between 30 and 35 milion euros and must decide by the end of this cycle whether Rashford will remain with them for the next season.
Adding Rashford’s own statements about his satisfaction with his performances under Hansi Flick, combined with a firm “NO” from England, it’s clear that a return to Manchester United is off the table and that his future lies solely in Catalonia. Barcelona’s sporting director, the Portuguese Deco, is reportedly working to reduce the price below 30 milion euros to make the deal more affordable for the club.
Since the start of this season, Rashford has been playing like his old self, scoring and creating goals, whether in La Liga or the Champions League. He has scored six times and provided nine assists in 16 matches, proving to be extremely valuable for Barcelona — something Manchester United clearly failed to utilize in recent times.
