The Migaa leg arrives at a pivotal stage of the calendar, with players pushing to secure their places at the Grand Finale scheduled for Saturday, 28 November, at Karen Country Club.
It follows a highly competitive outing at Sigona Golf Club last weekend, which attracted more than 260 golfers and stood out as one of the most attended events in this year’s series.
At Sigona, Akshay Chandaria claimed the Overall Gross Men title after returning an impressive 76 gross, while Rachel Ndei secured the Overall Gross Ladies crown with 90 gross. Both players booked their tickets to the Grand Finale.
Adam Tayebjee finished runner-up in the men’s category with 77 gross, the same score posted by M.N. Njoroge, who placed third after countback. In the ladies’ division, Jane Njau impressed with a solid round to finish runner-up on 91 gross.
In the handicap categories, G S Phull won Division Two Men with 39 points, while Vivian Kosgei took the Division Two Ladies title with 32 points. Joy Bhatt topped Division Three with 37 points, and junior golfer Hetansh Shah stood out after carding 80 gross to win the junior category.
Speaking after the Sigona leg, NCBA reiterated its commitment to growing the sport through inclusive and competitive platforms.
“We are delighted to witness another successful and highly competitive leg of the NCBA Golf Series here at Sigona Golf Club. The quality of play today reflects the continued growth of golf in Kenya.
Through this series, our goal remains to create inclusive platforms that bring together golfers, strengthen club communities, and support the development of talent across the country,” said Rose Mburu, NCBA ABC Place Branch Manager.
With attention now shifting to Migaa Golf Club, focus turns to the next set of qualifiers and who will be vying for a coveted place at Karen Country Club later this year.
The 2026 NCBA Golf Series continues to build strong momentum across its legs, with rising participation and consistent engagement from golfers and partners. The Migaa event is expected to extend that momentum, delivering another competitive chapter on the road to the Grand Finale.
