Pool A
Fresh from winning the Prinsloo 7s, Strathmore Leos will be brimming with confidence as they headline Pool A alongside hosts Kenya Harlequin, Zetech Oaks, and invitees Mombasa SC.
Quins, who have finished sixth in both the Driftwood and Prinsloo 7s, will be banking on home advantage to finally break into the semifinal bracket.

The RFUEA crowd could play a big role in energising their bid for a deep run.
Zetech Oaks have been a force to be reckoned with since ascending to the Division One category after the Driftwood 7s, and will be out to keep the impressive form going.
Strathmore will be keen to copy paste their Prinsloo 7s heroics and be crowned champions.
Pool B
The ever-improving Catholic University of East Africa (CUEA) Monks, who clinched third place in Nakuru, will be out to maintain their impressive run. They face Nakuru RFC, Impala RFC, and invitational side Masinde Muliro University of Science and Technology (MMUST) Rugby.
Nakuru, semifinalists at the Driftwood 7s and quarterfinalists at Prinsloo, have shown consistency but will want to push a step further.
Monks, meanwhile, have emerged as this season’s surprise package, and their test against experienced sides will reveal just how far they’ve come.
Pool C
The headline story is the defending champions Kabras RFC, who have unveiled a star-studded squad for Christie 7s.
Last year, they lifted the title despite missing key men such as Kevin Wekesa, Brian Tanga, and Lameck Ambetsa (then with Shujaa duty at the Olympics), and Derrick Ashiundu, Alfred Orege, Walter Okoth, and Barry Robinson (who were with the Simbas at the Rugby Africa Cup).

With their big names back in the mix, including captain Brian Tanga, co-captain Jone Kubu, powerhouse Derrick Ashiundu, and playmakers like Patrick Lumumba, William Mwanji, Griffins Chao, and Brian Mutua, Kabras look primed to defend their crown.
They, however, land in the dreaded “Pool of Death” alongside Menengai Oilers, who sit fourth on the log, Daystar Falcons, and Uganda’s Ruga Ruga Select. Every fixture in this group promises fireworks.
Pool D
Joint log leaders KCB Rugby headline Pool D, where they will face Mwamba RFC, Nondies, and newly-promoted Blak Blad.
Mwamba showed glimpses of improvement with a quarterfinal berth at Prinsloo, bouncing back from a poor outing at Driftwood.
They will be hoping to build on that momentum, though KCB remain favourites to dominate.
Blak Blad, winners of the Division Two title at Prinsloo, will be eager to make a statement in their debut at the top tier.
