Kenya Simbas brushed off by Windhoek Draught Welwitschias

Kenya Simbas will tackle Zimbabwe Gowshaks on Saturday 20 May at the Nakuru Athletic Club.
Kenya 15s national team, Simbas were in for a stroke of hard luck after losing 35-28 to Windhoek Draught Welwitschias of Namibia. The Simbas were coming from their first win of the Currie Cup where they beat Border Bulldogs 30-26 and were hoping to extend the fine run.
They would however start off badly, with the Namibians scoring 21 points in the opening 15 minutes. More tries from the Namibians followed through Gershwin Mauton and PJ Waters. Kenyans would then respond through Walter Okoth which Ntabeni Dukisa converted to see the scores at 28-14 at halftime.
In the closing half, the Kenyans scored through Walter Okoth who was set up by Samuel Asati. Dukisa added the extras. Kenyans went on to impress through Elkeans Musonye, with Dukisa converting to see the scores tied at 28-28.
The Namibians would then bounce back, hitting the Kenyans with a converted try before the sound of the final whistle.
