
Shujaa set to face Samoa in Los Angeles 7s opener

National men’s rugby sevens team, Shujaa will kick off the Los Angeles 7s set for this weekend against Samoa.
Shujaa are placed in Pool D of the season ender alongside England, Samoa and Scotland
The Damian McGrath-led side will take on Samoa starting 8.26pm EAT on Saturday 27 before playing England at 11.10pm EAT the same evening.
Kenya will wind up their pool fixtures with a match against Scotland at 2.21am EAT on Sunday 28 August.
McGrath made two changes ahead of the final show of the 2021-2022 series as he recalled the experienced duo of former skipper Jeff Oluoch and Sammy Oliech to the team. The returnees replaced Levi Amunga and Herman Humwa respectively.

Kenya who can rest easy after escaping relegation from World Rugby Sevens Series are coming from improved performances in the Commonwealth Games where they finished joint seventh after reaching the Main Cup quarters.
