Uphill task for Shujaa in Hong Kong

Shujaa remain in 13th position with 29 points on the series log after Vancouver 7s.

Kenya 7s side, Shujaa, will have yet another herculean task on 31 March to 2 April when they travel to China for the Hong Kong 7s.

Shujaa are placed in Pool D alongside log leaders New Zealand, South Africa and eighth-placed Ireland.

Damian McGrath's charges will be looking to register another win against South Africa after their recent meeting ended 17-12 in favor of the Kenyans.

New Zealand are leading the log with 120 points, and have picked more than 10 points in all the past tournaments. They will be keen to win all their pool matches in Hong Kong, and they are a worthy opponent for the Kenyans.

Ireland on the other hand will be keen to upset other teams in the pool to avoid dropping from their current ninth position.

Shujaa will be keen to better their previous Hong Kong 7s performance where they were knocked out of the opening leg after failing to win any of their pool matches against Ireland, Argentina, and Canada.

In Pool A, Argentina who were this weekend crowned Vancouver 7s champions will battle it out with Fiji, Samoa, and Canada. The Argentinians are on their way to topping the log and are now more motivated than ever. They are placed second with 108 points.

Pool B has hosts Hong Kong, France, Great Britain, and Uruguay. Hong Kong will be looking to make a statement at home while France will be hoping to pick up from where they left in Vancouver and upset other teams. Uruguay and Great Britain will also be looking to rise further on the log.

In Pool C, World 7s series leaders Australia will face off with USA, Spain, and Japan.
