A goal in each half enough for Hammers' comfortable win at Pride Park

West Ham see off Derby County 2-0 to reach the 1/8 finals

Back in the 90s, this one would be a genuine Premier League mid-table clash, but after Derby County suffered several relegations to League One (third tier), it turned into a cat-and-mouse game. And West Ham were the cat in this case, defeating Derby County 2-0 at their charming Pride Park in the FA Cup fourth-round tie.

Despite a more than decent performance, the Rams had no chance to upset David Moyes' side, which netted one in each half to secure the comfortable win.

Bowen opened the scoring after a bit of a pinball in the rival's area, with Soucek assisting him cleverly for the visitors' 1-0 lead.

The hosts did try to fight back almost instantly, but the Hammers' starting XI was just too much for the third-division minnows.

The match was wrapped up early in the second half, as impeccable striker Michail Antonio slotted it nicely on the far post for 2-0.
