Arda finally finds the back of the net as Real Madrid re-instate seven-point lead

Arda Guler's honeymoon at Real Madrid has finally started after at least three significant injuries that prevented him from showcasing his skills until recently.

At least, that's what it looks like following his maiden goal for Los Blancos, the Turkish midfielder netted on Sunday night in a convincing 4-0 home win against Celta Vigo.

The prodigious attacking midfielder came on a minute from time, replacing Vinicius Jr before scoring a superb goal. He went around Guaita with the ball to slot it into the back of the net.

After the final whistle, the Royals' boss, Carlo Ancelotti, was more than happy, congratulating his fragile youngster on a maiden breakthrough.

It was a relaxing night for the Italian tactician, as his team managed to re-instate a seven-point lead at the top of La Liga table.

Vinicius Jr opened the scoring, and Vigo's two own-goals killed all the visitors' hopes of surviving the Santiago Bernabeu cauldron.

Former Madrid coach, now at the helm of Celta, Rafa Benitez, is going through a tough period as his slot is on the brink of the relegation zone, only two points afloat of 18-th placed Cadiz.
