The Gabon striker assisted in two goals and scored another one in a 4-0 win
Olympique Marseille started their Champions League campaign with a 2-1 loss in Madrid to Real. The famous club from the south of France are playing in their 12th Champions League campaign, but only their third in the last 12 seasons. The Marseille club have not qualified for the knockout stage since the quarter-finals of the Champions League in 2011-12.They had a good transfer window and the hype around the club is big. After that Madrid loss (in which Marseille played well), Roberto De Zerbi’s men finally defeated PSG in Le Classique and a win over Strasbourg followed. And tonight, they smashed the famous Ajax 4-0, with three goals in less than 30 minutes of the game!
Aubameyang es una puta locura.

Marseille record signing was Igor Paixao, the Brazilian from Feyenoord who came for 35 million euros and after initial injury, he shone tonight with a brace within 12 minutes! But let’s not forget that old/new signing Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang assited twice and scored another goal to make his apperance perfect. Interestingly, while the score was 2-0 for the home team, Ajax had 60% of possession, but Marseille killed them with counter attacks. It was simple check-mat in three moves. It all started by a pass from Aguerd and Aubameyang just pushed it to Paixao, who ran as fast as he could and then just put a precise shot in the bottom right corner. The second goal happened when Vermeeren intercepted a hot ball and Paixao took a blast from the edge of the penalty area to make it 2-0. Then it was time for Greenwood to score from a counter and it was Aubameyang again with an assist. The Gabon striker ended the perfect night in the 52nd minute when he finally scored fourth goal for Marseille and left Velodrome in a trance.
