The 25-year-old winger has made his name at HSV, and apparently, two top-tier sides are trying to ink a deal with him in the January Transfer Window
Two Bundesliga clubs have reportedly joined the race to sign HSV's Bakery Jatta, with both submitting offers for the Gambian winger currently playing in the Bundesliga 2.
According to Hamburger Morgenpost, one offer from an unnamed Bundesliga club is so lucrative that it could be out of Hamburg's financial power to compete with the first-division club to tie Jatta, 25, down to a new contract.

Bakery is in the final year of his contract and is therefore free to negotiate with clubs from January 1. On the other hand, HSV would like to extend his contract, but the chances of seeing him at the Volksparkstadion next season are diminishing.
Jatta has scored three goals and added three more assists in 16 appearances this season. HSV sit in third place, occupying the promotion playoff, four points behind leader Holstein Kiel.
