The Blues registered Fernandez, Mudrik and Felix

Chelsea brought eight new players in the winter transfer window, but they faced their first problem in London yesterday.

All clubs that continue to compete in the European Cups had until February 2nd at midnight to license players for the squad, with the fact that they could make a maximum of three changes compared to the autumn rosters.

The Blues' choice went down to Enzo Fernandez, Joao Felix and Mykhailo Mudryk. And because of them, Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang was removed from the list, in order to make room.

This means that the shirt of Chelsea in the spring phase of the Champions League will not be worn by - when it comes to newcomers - Benoit Badiashile, Datro Fofana, Noni Madueke, Malo Gusto and Andrey Santos.

Chelsea's squad for the Champions League, where they will play Borussia Dortmund in the Round of 16, includes:

Goalkeepers: Kepa Arrizabalaga, Marcus Bettinelli, Edouard Mendy

Defenders: Thiago Silva, Trevor Chalobah, Ben Chilwell, Reece James, Kalidou Koulibaly, Cesar Azpilicueta, Marc Cucurella, Wesley Fofana

Midfielders: Enzo Fernandez, N'Golo Kante, Mateo Kovacic, Christian Pulisic, Ruben Loftus-Cheek, Raheem Sterling, Mason Mount, Denis Zakaria, Hakim Ziyech, Conor Gallagher, Carney Chukwuemeka, Charlie Webster, Lewis Hall

Forwards: João Felix, Mykhailo Mudryk, Armando Broja, Kai Havertz
