Rodri's severe injury left a considerable gap in the Cityzens' midfield, which could be filled with none other than Real Madrid's Federico Valverde
Man City are allegedly preparing a major transfer move that could start an earthquake! Since Rodri tore his ACL and finished the season, the Cityzens have been lacking quality midfield players and are planning to fill that gap with Real Madrid's Federico Valverde!
🚨 Real Madrid midfielder Federico Valverde is another candidate for Manchester City as they look to strengthen their midfield but he has a release clause of €1 BILLION.

According to the Spanish Fichajes, the Uruguayian is unhappy in Madrid, given that he's lately been Carlo Ancelotti's secondary option in the midfield, while Jude Bellingham, Eduardo Camavinga, and Aurelien Tchouameni have been the Italian's primary choices.
Hence, Valverde has started thinking about the departure from Santiago Bernabeu, and Man City want to use that. They are allegedly ready to offer around €70 million for the 26-year-old's signature, even though he has a release clause of as much as €1 billion. Still, if the player is genuinely unhappy, Real will hardly try to keep him, although his contract expires only in 2029.
Pep Guardiola reportedly sees a perfect fit for the Cityzens' midfield in Valverde and highly values his capabilities. Yet, the eventual move to England would be a massive move for the Uruguayan, especially considering that he joined the Madrid giants at 18 and wore only the jersey of Penarol in his homeland and Deportivo La Coruna (on loan from Real) in Spain, apart from Los Blancos'.
