K'Ogalo will be hoping to hand their new head coach Andreas Spier the perfect welcome gift.

After a 10-day break, Gor Mahia will be seeking to revenge the 3-0 evisceration at the hands of Posta Rangers when the two teams lock horns on Sunday 6 February at the Kasarani Stadium.

Timothy Otieno, Chrispinus Onyango were on the scoresheet as Stanely Okumbi outclassed Mark Harrison which proved to be the Briton’s final straw.Otieno who has four goals in the last three outings managed a brace in the first leg held at Thika Stadium.

Okumbi has also departed the Mailmen with reports of him moving to Germany to upgrade his coaching badges with his assistant Collins 'Korea' Omondi taking over.

Posta midfielder Bernard Ondiek who is facing his former employers noted that it will be a tough ask to beat the record champions in successive games but they are up to the task.

“They will come looking for revenge and it will be very hard to beat them again but it is possible because we have a good squad and we are on form. Having played for Gor it will be extra motivation to get a win.

They have a new coach which means the players will step up, we have also lost our coach but it will not be a challenge for us because Okumbi has been with Korea for a long time,” said Ondiek.

Gor Mahia have trusted Andreas Spier with taking charge of the team but have lost a key player in the shape of Harun Shakava who became the latest Kenya Police unveiling.

K’Ogalo custodian Gad Mathews admitted that they will be going for revenge and will hope to hand the new technical bench a resounding welcome.

“Obviously we will go for revenge because that was a result that really upset us and it was really painful but I’m hoping for a clean sheet and a win to give the new technical bench a warm welcome.

The break has given us a chance to work on our weaknesses people are motivated for the game because we want to do our part as players and hope the management will do theirs,” said Gad.

The clash is slated for a 3 PM kick off.
