The FKF Premier League Week 20 action concludes with five matches set to be played on Sunday in various parts of the country, as Kenya's top-tier league becomes more intense at both ends.
On Saturday, leaders Kenya Police drew 0-0 with Tusker FC, Gor Mahia overcame Mathare United 2-1, Bandari beat Sofapaka FC 1-0, and Bidco United and Nairobi City Stars played a 1-1 draw.
The action continues this afternoon.
Dandora double-header
Dandora Stadium will be one of two stadiums hosting a doubleheader today.
The first match will see an inconsistent Ulinzi Stars host Kakamega Homeboyz FC. The Soldiers haven't won in their last two games, losing 1-0 to Tusker FC before drawing 1-1 with Bidco United. Homeboyz, on the other hand, are unbeaten in their last nine matches, coming into this game on the back of a 2-0 win over Mara Sugar FC.
Over the years, Homeboyz has proven to be a bogey side for the Soldiers. In their last ten meetings, the 2010 league champions have managed just two wins over the Kakamega County-based team.
The two teams are separated by just three points, hinting at what could be a closely contested game. Homeboyz are eighth with 26 points, while Ulinzi Stars are in tenth place with 23 points.
Both teams have bolstered their squads with new players. Ulinzi have signed Joseph Omuse and Meshack Karani and recalled Oscar Wamalwa, Brian Birgen, and Victor Kioko.
Homeboyz’s new signings include Patrick Matasi, Bensaul Mukhwana, and Henry Omolo.
The game kicks off at 1 PM.
AFC Leopards vs Kariobangi Sharks
The second match at Dandora Stadium will be a mouth-watering clash between AFC Leopards and William Muluya's team of youngsters.
Ingwe will be looking to end an inconsistent run in which they perform well against tougher opponents but drop points against lower-ranked teams.
Sharks, on the other hand, are fighting to avoid being dragged into a relegation battle and will be desperate for points. Muluya’s men are winless in their last seven games and need a win to move away from the bottom half of the table.
Leopards have signed two players, James Ssetuba and Frederick Alushula, but it is unclear whether they have been registered to play. Sharks, on the other hand, have new players such as Price Musebe, Francis Memusi, and Keegan Ndemi, who featured against Shabana, with more new faces expected to play against Leopards.
Sharks have not beaten Leopards in their last seven league outings.
The game starts at 4 PM.
Machakos showdown
Attention will also turn to Kenyatta Stadium in Machakos, where another double-header will take place.
The first game will see struggling sides KCB FC face off against Murang’a Seal FC.
The Bankers have just one win in their last nine matches, while Seal haven’t won in their last four games and are also desperate for points, just like their opponents.
Seal has never beaten KCB in their three meetings. KCB have won two of the encounters, with the other ending in a goalless draw.

Posta host Shabana
The second game of the day at Kenyatta Stadium will be a highly anticipated clash between Posta Rangers and the ambitious Shabana FC.
The two teams have had contrasting fortunes this season, with Shabana among the outside contenders for the league title, while Posta are fighting to avoid relegation.
