Next up for renovation is Eder Militao

Real Madrid announced extending Fede Valverde's contract until 30 June 2029. It's no surprise as the club from the Spanish capital systematically ties its best players to long-term deals.

Valverde joined the club at the young age of 18 in July 2016 and has since become one of the most accomplished central midfielders in the world. He has played for the first team for six years, making 220 appearances, scoring 19 goals, and winning nine titles. These include two La Liga titles, one Champions League, one Copa del Rey, two Spanish Super Cups, a European Super Cup, and two Club World Cups.

Vinicius Junior, Rodrygo, and Eduardo Camavinga have all extended their contracts with Real Madrid. Valverde has now agreed to a new deal that will keep him firmly at Bernabeu. The next player to sign a new contract with Carlo Ancelotti's side is centre-back Eder Militao. It is understood that an agreement in principle has been reached with the Brazilian, whose current deal expires in 2025.

Valverde recently confirmed his desire to become the captain of Real Madrid shortly. When asked if he would like to wear the armband, he responded affirmatively. He expressed that being Madrid's captain is a dream of his. Valverde admires the current captains, Dani Carvajal, Luka Modric and Toni Kroos, and tries to learn from them as much as possible. He considers being named the captain of Uruguay as one of the most beautiful moments of his career and would love to lead the Real Madrid team as well.
