He could crush you, but he won't! The strongest footballer will end his career on the biggest stage

In a few days, he'll be 40 years old. And his football career will end in a spectacular manner. Even though he spent most of his two-decade-long career playing at small stadiums in the lower leagues of English football, fate wanted Adebayo Akinfenwa to play his final match at the biggest stage of all - the Wembley Stadium.

Wycombe Wanderers will face either Sheffield Wednesday or Sunderland to decide which club will be competing in the EFL Championship next season. It's a long-expected climax to a long and gruelling League One season and will be a nice scenery for Akinfenwa, or The Beast as many call him, to bid farewell to professional football.

But why is Adebayo so popular and different. Well, just look at him. The journeyman striker has played for 14 clubs over the last 21 years and, everywhere he went, he was the strongest. In fact, he's probably one of the strongest people in any county, in any sport! Even though he's a 100-kilogram mountain of muscles, this Englishman of Nigerian origin moves much easier than you'd expect him to. This guy has become a bit of an icon in England. He's published his autobiography titled The Beast: My Story.

The gentle giant will have a chance for a perfect send-off, by enabling his team's promotion to the second tier. What a way to end his playing days and celebrate his 40th birthday!
