The young Spaniard returned from injury, and in the short time he was on the pitch, he showed his magic – providing an assist just a minute later to make it 2-1 in favor of Barcelona

Barcelona may not have played a perfect game against Real Sociedad, more so just got the job done – especially evident when the visitors took the lead. Still, by the end of the first half, Hansi Flick’s side managed to equalize, and then, powered by Lamine Yamal and Robert Lewandowski, secured the victory.

Real Sociedad threatened early, with Mikel Oyarzabal rising to meet a free-kick delivery in the 9th minute, but his header went wide. Barcelona responded immediately: a corner found Marcus Rashford, who fired low toward the bottom-left corner, only for Alex Remiro to make a last-second save.

Barcelona continued to press, with Ronald Araujo receiving a precise pass in the 22nd minute and unleashing a long-range shot, which Remiro managed to keep out.

Sociedad broke the deadlock in the 31st minute. Ander Barrenetxea provided the assist to Alvaro Odriozola, who had an open goal and calmly slotted the ball home, giving the visitors a 1-0 lead. The goal is HERE!

Barcelona fought back before halftime. In the 39th minute, Pedri reacted fastest to a rebound in the box and fired under the bar, only for a defender to clear it off the line. A few minutes later, Roony Bardghji had a great chance in the six-yard box, but Remiro again produced a superb save.

Finally, in the 43rd minute, Barcelona drew level. Marcus Rashford delivered an excellent corner, and Jules Kounde rose above the defense to head the ball into the left corner, making it 1-1 heading into the break. The goal is HERE!

Barcelona started second half strongly. In the 47th minute, Gerard Martin found a little space at the edge of the box and tried his shot, but it went wide of the left post. A few minutes later, Pedri went one-on-one with Alex Remiro, firing powerfully toward the center of goal, only for the Sociedad keeper to make a comfortable save.

The game’s turning point came in the 59th minute when Lamine Yamal, fresh off the bench, immediately made an impact. He drove down the right flank and delivered a precise ball to Robert Lewandowski, who calmly headed past Remiro to give Barcelona the lead. The goal is HERE!

Barcelona kept pressing. In the 68th minute, Lewandowski received the ball in the box and managed to get a shot off toward the near post, but a defender blocked it. Just two minutes later, Marcus Rashford unleashed a dangerous strike from the edge of the area aimed at the bottom-left corner, only for Remiro to produce an excellent save. Shortly after, Dani Olmo also tested the Sociedad goalkeeper from distance, but Remiro was again equal to the task.

Rashford had another moment in the 77th minute, bursting into the box with a stunning solo run that electrified the crowd, but his finish was poor and went far off target. Sociedad nearly punished Barcelona moments later: in the 84th minute, Kubo struck the crossbar after a promising chance. Then came an incredible miss from Lewandowski: Lamine Yamal spearheaded a counterattack, fed Torres, who squared it to the Pole, only for Lewandowski to hit the crossbar.
