Goals by Mercy Mung’aro and Magneta Ocharo cancelled out Hanifa Bajari's early goal to ensure Kayole walked home with maximum points.

Speaking after the match, Kayole Starlets tactician Sakwa disclosed the tactics that guided his side to victory.

We mastered the formation of the opponents, where they pack the midfield with five players. We trained on how to bypass that by focusing our attacks on the wide areas where we got all our goals from,” said Sakwa.

The win pushed Kayole up to seventh on the log with 19 points, with Sakwa revealing their targets for the remaining two matches.

“We want to finish the league strongly and are confident of collecting six points from our two remaining matches,” he stated.

Meanwhile, Trinity Starlets' coach Sylvanous Wesonga conceded to the superior tactics of Kayole on the day, choosing to shift focus in his two remaining matches, where they will be out to seek to cement third place.

They (Kayole Stelets) prepared well, just like we did, and it was a good match between two good teams. We needed a point from the match to seal third place, but we could not manage that. We now shift the search to our match against Police Bullets and Gideon Starlets,” said Wesonga.

Comboni Grounds in Gilgil will be the center of attraction on Saturday, 9 May as Trinity hosts Police Bullets in a potential title decider.

The Law enforcers are currently at the summit with 46 points, two more than Ulinzi Starlets.
