Johnstone Omurwa has been training with Maritzburg United for two weeks now

Football Kenya Federation Premier League (FKFPL) side Wazito FC could be rocked with yet another exit at the heart of its central defense following the exit of team captain Bernard Ochieng who has moved to Ethiopia.

A reliable source has now confirmed to Mozzart Sport that Johnstone Omurwa could also leave the club if his trial at PSL side Maritzburg United is successful.

"He has been trying out at the club for the past two weeks and all seems to be going on well." The source said.

Omurwa also had a short trial at Chippa United before crossing over to Maritzburg, which at one time was home to Kenyan International Brian "Niang" Mandela.

Wazito is ongoing a silent restructuring with coach Francis Kimanzi hoping to challenge for the title in the upcoming season.

Another Kenyan International Cliff Nyakeya is said to have put pen to paper to a one-year deal at the club and will be unveiled before the end of the week.
