The Kenyan midfielder is expected to complete the deal and spend the next season in the town of Gornji Milanovac
Red Star Belgrade’s sports director Zvezdan Terzić announced in a recent conversation with journalists that Richard Odada will probably be loaned to one of the Serbian Super League clubs next season, and we can now exclusively reveal that the team is FK Metalac.
In addition to the 20-year-old defensive midfielder from Kenya - whose Serbian passport is being worked on extensively - a year younger left back, Uros Blagojevic, could do the same. Negotiations are ongoing and are expected to take place soon.

After playing for Red Star's development team Grafičar, during the first part of the season, Odada got a chance to impose himself on coach Dejan Stanković during the second part, but he did not succeed.

He trained with the first team and made two appearances, a total of 29 minutes, against Proleter (12) and Mladost (17), however, he was insecure and deconcentrated on the field, so the Kenyan youngster will have to earn the new opportunity with the Serbian champion via another team.
Metalac from the town of Gornji Milanovac finished the season in the ninth place and is generally perceived as the club that offers chances to young, talented players, who are looking for more playing time.
Metalac coach Zarko Lazetic, a former manager of Red Star arch rivals Partizan believes that both Odada and Blagojevic will be quality additions which will improve the clubs’s overall position during the upcoming Serbian Super League season, which should start in the second part of July.
