The two sides were set to meet in a rescheduled league match on Tuesday, 24 March at the Police Sacco Stadium from 1500 hrs.

Prior to the encounter, Police were second on the standings with 37 points, one shy of league leaders Ulinzi Starlets, who shot to the top after securing a 1-0 victory over Madira Soccer Assassins on Sunday, 22 March.

Kisumu All Starlets, on the other hand, were anchored to the foot of the table with -4 points, having failed to win even a single match this season.

The Law Enforcers were ready at their venue, conducting their warm-ups, hoping and waiting for their opponents, but the lakeside outfit was nowhere to be seen by kickoff.

The match officials, who were also present at the venue, opted to wait for All Starlets for the stipulated 45 minutes after kickoff, but the league strugglers did not show up, prompting the referees to record the happenings in their report.

With Police benefitting from the walkover, they returned to the top of the league with 40 points, two more than Ulinzi Starlets, with Gilgil-based Trinity Starlets coming third with 34 points.

All Starlets remain bottom of the log with -4 points. Having secured just two points from draws against Trinity Starlets and Madira Soccer Assassins, All Starlets possess a negative tally thanks to six points deducted for issuing two walkovers previously.

The Kisumu-based club previously failed to honour their matches against Ulinzi Starlets and Zetech Sparks.

With the walkover against Police being their third of the season, the leagues and competitions committee is expected to immediately relegate All Starlets to the FKF Women's National Super League (WNSL), where they will compete next season.

With that, Kisped Queens will be at the bottom of the log with -2 points and joined in the relegation zone by Homa Bay-based Gideon Starlets.
