Marcelo Bielsa of Leeds and WBA's assistant coach Sammy Lee opened up an entirely new chapter
Nobody knows when it actually started - a tradition of swapping shirts at the end of a match.
But it became an integral part of a football game, and it's been like that for years if not even decades.
However, the Premier League final matchday provided us with something totally new. At the end of the Leeds United - WBA tie that ended 3-1 for the home team, something truly awkward happened. Leeds tactican charismatic Marcelo Bielsa was approached by WBA's assistant coach (and maybe an interim manager after Sam Allardyce packs his bags these days) Sammy Lee.
A suggestion was made, and it was an interesting one, to put it mildly - to exchange coaching jackets!? Lee wanted a piece of clothing Bielsa is most famous for. The deal was made, and they did in the tunnel. Too bad there were no cameras there to show us that unique moment in football history.
We all know about swapping shirts at full-time, but what about coaches swapping jackets?
