Lampard's horror at Chelsea continues, as Liverpool come from behind to knock the Hammers

Thank God for the near end of the Premier League season because who knows what could happen to Frank Lampard and his Chelsea in two months time or so, as the Blues keep deteriorating rapidly.

Their awful decline continued on Wednesday night, as Brentford topped them at Stamford Bridge 2-0. And did it deservedly. Thomas Frank's side scored a goal in each half to keep their quest to Europe alive.

Azpilicueta scored an own goal to put the visitors in front, and that second one, of Bryan Mbeumo, was something special, as the prolific forward cruised through the entire Chelsea's defence before killing the game.

The Bees are now six points behind Liverpool, who defeated West Ham United 2-1 away after trailing by one early on. Paqueta opened the scoring after a perfect one-two with Michail Antonio, but Jurgen Klopp's side fought back with some style. Cody Gakpo nailed it from mid-range to level the score before Joel Matip decided the clash with a perfect header.

Antonio had a chance to save at least a point for his team, but the Jamaican striker missed a sitter from a yard or two, while Bowen's goal was voided due to offside.
