Tusker winger Lawrence Luvanda has revealed his ambition of scoring at least eight goals and registering more than ten assists in the forthcoming season.

Luvanda who battles recurring injuries in the past term scored thrice and created a handful of goals to aid the Ruaraka based club retain the league title.

Tusker will be looking to boss the competition once again and advance to the CAF Champions League, a showpiece they were locked out of despite winning the local league during the FKF Transition Committee’s era.

The attacker, who joined the beer makers from National Super League outfit Vihiga United said the prolonged pre-season period had granted him time to polish his goal scoring instincts that he believes, will help the Brewers win yet another title

I am praying for an injury-free season so that I can play regularly. Last season, I fought injuries that barred me from getting game time as much as I had wished. I am hoping to score goals for fun in the new season and create as much as I can,” he said.

The former AFC Leopards man in the meantime reckons that the team will have a good start of life in the campaign and sustain it throughout the term.

The Robert Matano coached outfit signed six players during the past window and promoted one from their youth team.

Among those who joined the club in the past window is the trio of Erick Mmata, Boniface Onyango and Tom Teka who arrived from Kariobangi Sharks.
