The Brewers are the only side in the league yet to drop a point this season.
Tusker have maintained their 100% start to the season with a win against KCB on Thursday with head coach Robert Matano revealing that teamwork has been behind their impressive form.
The Brewers have a two-point advantage at the summit of the log, having played a game less compared to the surprise second-placed side, Nzoia Sugar FC.
Tusker have picked up wins over KCB, Bidco United, AFC Leopards, Nairobi City Stars, and Kakamega Homeboyz to post one of their best starts to a season in recent years.
Matano revealed that teamwork has been behind his side’s success with the majority of his players having played many games together.
“We are working as a team, we have been together, we implement what we are doing in the training sessions and also they (players) are working as a team, they have been together for a while.
The players also understand my philosophy but most importantly we are playing together as a team and working as a family, everybody is focused and we are trying to maintain our stands set for around 10 years,” said Matano.
The reigning league champions are the only side yet to drop a point this season and have also scored the most goals, having netted seven in five games.
