Imagine calling 999 and you see Musa Mohammed respond to your distress call.
Five months after joining Kenya Police FC, former Gor Mahia skipper Musa Mohammed has admitted that he has plans of becoming a police officer.
Just like Ulinzi Stars, Kenya Police can sign civilians and offers them a chance to join the force after completing the mandatory training.
The burly centre back revealed that he has harboured thoughts of becoming a law enforcer and in particular an undercover cop after a random joke from the Team Manager George Maelo.
“Yes I have thought about being a police officer, I was joking with the Team Manager about being an undercover cop and I think it’s true I’m supposed to be an undercover. To the CEO and chairman, I have thought of being an officer and I see myself being one,” said Musa in an interview posted on the club's YouTube page.
Kenya Police has signed a number of civilians recently after roping in Francis Kahata, Elvis Rupia, Duke Abuya, Clifton Miheso, Duncan Otieno and David ‘Messi’ Owino just to mention a few.

Musa added that he would have taken up a career in boxing if he had not pursued football as he loves training with his sister Fatuma Zarika who is the former WBC female super bantamweight champion.
“If I was not a footballer I would have been a boxer because when my sister went for training I joined her and I used to love it till date. I train with her during the offseason but I think I would have been a boxer or I would have done something related to boxing,” added Musa.
