In the player of the month category, Nairobi United forward Michael Karamor leads the list that also comprises his teammate Kevin Wangaya, APS Bomet’s center back Edward Masembe as well as Police FC goalkeeper Daniel Ogembo.
Karamor made it to the list following an impressive five goals scored in April.
The Nigerian forward opened his April account with a goal in their 3-0 win over Shabana.
He was on target in the subsequent match against Kakamega Homeboyz, before completing his monthly tally with a first half hat-trick to help Naibois secure a 4-2 comeback win over Murang’a Seal.
Wangaya, on the other hand, was the most creative in April, a contribution that was topped up with three goals.
In a month where APS Bomet were impressive, winning all their three matches and keeping clean sheets, it was only fair to include Masembe in the list.
For Ogembo, he stepped in for the injured Job Ochieng in the Police FC goal and proved to be equal to the task by keeping four clean sheets in as many games.
In the coaching category, Sammy 'Pamzo' Omollo guided APS Bomet to impressive three wins without conceding a singlPamzo', a run that took the club out of the relegation zone.
Mara Sugar tactician Francis Xavier’s three wins and a draw in April also saw him secure a place in the coaching category.
For Naibois, they played five matches in April, recording three wins and two draws that earned coach Godfrey 'Solo' Oduor a place in the nomination list.
The coaching category also included Police coach Nicholas Muyoti who led the team to two wins and two draws in the month.
The winner of the player category will walk home with a personalized trophy as well as Ksh50,000 while the coach of the month will be awarded a personalized trophy and Ksh75,000.
