According to several reports, the Brazilian star is on the verge of a permanent deal with Paris Saint-Germain

And much more from where that came from.

That could be the digest version of Neymar's tenure at Paris Saint-Germain. As per reports, the 29-year-old Brazilian striker is on the verge of signing a new contract with PSG until June 2026. The last details of the agreement are about to be sorted out soon, but the sources say Neymar will get a ‘huge bonus’ for eventual major trophies with the Parisians. The particular trophy Mauricio Pochettino outfit is interested in is, of course, the Champions League crown.

After overpowering Neymar's former club, FC Barcelona, in the 1/8 finals, PSG face title holders Bayern Munich in the round of eight. With that said, it isn't easy to imagine the Brazilian lifting the trophy as soon as May 2021. The following next few seasons, however, could be fruitful for him and his teammates as Kylian Mbappe emerges as one of the leading stars of European football.

On the other hand, Neymar's former agent Andre Cury has revealed that the Brazilian player will play with Lionel Messi at Blaugrana. Neymar's former agent's statement came after Joan Laporta has been elected as the president of Barcelona. According to his former agent, Laporta is the only person who can bring the two together.

"He decided that his story should be in Barcelona, and I am very clear about that. Neymar will play with Messi again, yes, but it will be in Barcelona," he said.
