The Michael Olunga-backed side will be seeking to return to winning ways after enduring a tough spell that has seen them go three matches without victory, collecting only two points from a possible nine.

Under the stewardship of Charles Bruno, MOFA will be eager to end their torrid run and reignite their campaign before their home fans.

In their recent outings, MOFA suffered a narrow 1–0 defeat to Kibera Black Stars, before being held to a goalless draw by Darajani Gogo and a 1–1 stalemate with debutants Kabati Youth last weekend.

That string of winless results has seen the Homa Bay-based outfit slip to eighth place on eight points, five adrift of leaders Kibera Black Stars.

They face a resurgent Soy United side, who have made a steady start since returning to the second tier.

Coach Jeffers Odongo’s charges remain unbeaten in two matches, having held Kisumu All Stars to a barren draw before edging Luanda Villa 1–0 last weekend.

The Soy camp will be looking to build on that momentum and extend their fine start to climb further up the standings.

This will be the first-ever meeting between the two sides in the National Super League, a battle that pits MOFA’s quest for redemption against Soy’s hunger to sustain their unbeaten run.

In Kisumu, Darajani Gogo will be seeking to build on their morale-boosting victory last weekend when they face hosts Kisumu All Stars at Moi Stadium.

The Andrew Ongwae-coached side finally got off the mark last time out, edging Nairobi City Stars 1–0 to register their first win of the campaign.

Gogo will be keen to capitalize on All Stars’ current slump to record back-to-back wins and move closer to the top half of the table.

However, they will face a determined All Stars outfit under coach Billy Agai, who are yet to taste victory four matches into the campaign.

The Kisumu-based side remains winless, a streak Agai will be desperate to end in front of the home crowd.

Historically, the tie has leaned in favour of All Stars, who have won four of their last six meetings against Gogo, losing once and drawing once.

That record will give Agai’s men confidence, while Ongwae’s side will be motivated to break the monotony in what promises to be another hotly contested encounter.

A second straight win for Gogo would take them to seven points, lifting them into the top half of the standings, while a maiden win for All Stars would propel them off the drop zone to 12th place.

The final match of the day will see Naivas FC take on newcomers Kabati Youth at KHIBT Grounds in Ngong.

The retailers will be aiming to bounce back from their first defeat of the campaign, a 1–0 loss to Mombasa United last weekend, which halted their impressive four-match unbeaten run.

Coach Elvis Ayani will be counting on his charges to respond swiftly and reclaim their place among the frontrunners.

Naivas had enjoyed a bright start to the season, registering victories against Fortune Sacco, MCF, and Mwatate United, alongside a draw with Vihiga United.

A win on Monday would lift them to 13 points, level at the summit with Migori Youth, Kibera Black Stars, and Mombasa United.

On the other hand, Kabati Youth, under new head coach Haji Bilali, will be desperate to secure their first-ever NSL win.

The debutants have drawn two matches against MOFA and Vihiga United, and lost three against Equity FC (3–1), Nairobi City Stars (1–0), and Luanda Villa (2–1).

With both sides fighting for contrasting ambitions, Naivas chasing top spot and Kabati seeking to climb from the foot of the table, this first meeting between the two promises to be a tense and entertaining affair.

Victory for Naivas would move them joint-top, while Kabati could rise as high as 14th with a long-awaited win.
