
Out of the Blue: Gallagher close to joining Premier League strugglers Everton for bags full of money

The Toffees were flirting with Connor Gallagher in some previous transfer windows, but now they're ready to sip a bid to sign him for £40m plus £5m add ons
A definition of panic buying? Probably.
Anyhow, Everton - who just got themselves a new, permanent coach Sean Dyche - are trying to save their Premier League status with some shocking moves in the dying hours of the January transfer window.
According to several British media, The Sun mainly, the Toffees have submitted an official offer to sign Chelsea midfielder Conor Gallagher.
They've put a 40-million-pound offer on the table, plus five on potential bonuses.

However, Everton aren't the only Premier League side interested in signing the 22-year-old. Newcastle United are also keen on signing Gallagher, with Eddie Howe being a fan of the England international.
Meanwhile, Gallagher's former team Crystal Palace - for whom he played on loan last season - want to bring him back to Selhurst Park.
