There are several obstacles to this transfer, primarily Neymar’s contract with Santos until the end of the calendar year. However, since he hasn’t been on the best terms with the club’s president lately, it could easily happen that he is granted permission to leave. At the same time, Cincinnati also faces certain administrative hurdles typical of MLS, and will have to part ways with one of their three biggest stars (Denkey, Miles Robinson, or Luciano Acosta) to free up a spot for Neymar.
