The encounter, scheduled to kick off at 11:30 a.m , will serve as the curtain-raiser to the highly anticipated final between Tusker FC and Kenya Police FC, with both sides eager to conclude their cup campaign on a positive note.
KCB head into the fixture having enjoyed an impressive run throughout the tournament.
The 2024 finalists showcased their defensive solidity and attacking prowess, winning all their matches in regulation time without conceding a goal from open play. Their journey included convincing victories over Zetech University (4-0), Chebaiywa FC (3-0), and 2025 champions Nairobi United (1-0).
The bankers appeared destined for a place in the final before their hopes of lifting the trophy were dashed in the semi-finals. After playing out a goalless draw, KCB fell 4-3 in a penalty shootout, bringing an end to an otherwise outstanding campaign.
Bandari FC, meanwhile, also impressed on their route to the last four.
The two-time champions demonstrated their attacking quality throughout the competition, beginning with a 2-1 victory over Bumbani FC before dispatching 3K FC 2-0.
They then produced one of the tournament's most entertaining performances with a commanding 5-2 triumph over Mfalme FC.
However, the Dockers' quest for a third Mozzart Bet Cup title came to an end in the semi-finals after a dramatic penalty shootout defeat to Kenya Police FC.
Following a closely contested encounter, Bandari were beaten 5-3 on penalties, ending their hopes of reaching the final.
Beyond the pride of securing a third-place finish, both teams will have a significant financial incentive.
The third-placed side will pocket Ksh 1.5 million, while the fourth-placed team will receive Ksh 1 million.
Following the playoff, fans will be treated to an exhibition match featuring hosts Kwale United and Denmark FC before attention shifts to the season's showpiece final between Tusker FC and Kenya Police FC.
