Posta Rangers have acquired the services of highly rated midfielder Alex Dunga Luganji from Nairobi Stima
Football Kenya Federation Premier League (FKFPL) club Posta Rangers have completed the signing of midfielder Alex Dunga Luganji from National Super League (NSL) side Nairobi Stima.
The highly-rated midfielder, who joins the Mail Men on a three-year contract, has expressed his joy after putting pen to the paper saying his goal has always been to play at the top-tier. He had a rather short stint at Coastal side at Bandari that did not work out well but he says he's ready to make amends.
"I am very happy to finally join Posta Rangers and get another shot at the top league. Things did not go as I had anticipated at Bandari but I picked my lessons and went back to Nairobi Stima where I have been working very hard and I am currently enjoying good form," Dunga told Mozzart Sport.
Posta Rangers is on a rebuilding process after parting ways with coach Sammy "Pamzo" Omolo and appointing former Harambee Stars tactician Stanley Okumbi.
"He (Okumbi) personally scouted me in some games in the NSL even before he was appointed at Posta and spoke to me as soon as he was officially confirmed at the club. It shows he trusts in my ability and I can only pay him back by performing well. Posta is a great club with exceptional players and a capable technical bench - I just cant wait to get started," Dunga added.
Other players who have been signed by the mailmen include Joshua Nyatiny from Wazito, Evans Maliachy from Talanta and Ugandan International Ambrose Awio from Biashara United in Tanzania.
