PSG are pressuring Mbappe, offering 30 million per year

Real Madrid has hopes for Kylian Mbappe, Barcelona for Neymar, and Paris Saint-Germain for both players to stay in Paris. According to L'Equipe, PSG is increasing the pressure on both players in order to convince them to extend the contracts that expire in the summer of 2022 as soon as possible. Because if they don't do that, the Saints will have to think about selling this summer, avoiding that their two biggest assets go for free next season.

"Kylian and Neymar have no excuse to leave… They are Parisians and will remain Parisians" said Nasser al-Kelaifi, PSG president recently.

Neymar currently has 36 million euros, but that is the gross amount. Mbappe a little more than 25 million, or 2,098,000 per month: 1,783,000 in salary and 314,744 in bonuses for behavior. But when he pays the allowances in the amount of 55 percent, Mbappe is left with 11,3 million euros a year.

Al Kelaifi is ready to raise the stake to 30 million euros a year, gross of course, which would leave Mbappe with a salary of around 13,5 million. However, there is no answer yet, so the football players' representatives are more and more on the phone from the PSG officials. 

Poch pours cold water on Mbappe rumours

The idea of ​​the club is to sign a contract before the semifinal matches with Manchester City. But, Mbappe is in no hurry. From his point of view – there is plenty of time. He is also aware that this summer, it will be difficult to find a club capable of paying huge compensation to PSG (it is believed to be around 180 million euros), and giving him at least the same wage as in Paris.

On the other hand, Real is his boyhood dream. The only question is when? PSG would like to keep the player in the club at least until the World Cup in Qatar, more precisely in June 2023. That would mean that he would have to sign a contract until 2024. The „problem“ can be solved if the Parisians promise Mbappe that they will allow him to join Real in 2023, but PSG doesn’t want to be a club which is in fact „a mediator“ between it’s players and other big clubs. PSG want’s to be among the biggest, but it will not happen that quickly, mainly because of the quality of the French League. Neymar, on the other hand, was offered a contract until June 2027, which could mean ending his career in Paris (he would be 35 then).
