Raging Klopp: "Early kick-offs are a crime"

Liverpool boss hates a 'breakfast' slot and surely won't miss it once he leaves EPL shortly. His Reds will face the Spurs on Sunday

It's a no-brainer: Jurgen Klopp has been the firm enemy of those Premier League's early kick-offs on a Saturday and will remain until his last day in the Liverpool dugout.

Back in 2018, he even called it a 'breakfast' slot. This Friday, the German tactician took aim at the EPL and its broadcasters, describing the scheduling as "absolutely insane" during his press conference ahead of Sunday's clash against Tottenham.

He joked: "I was actually waiting for Amnesty International to go to them. I would like to be part of that meeting when someone says 'Liverpool 12:30' and the whole room is bursting into laughter."

On broadcaster TNT, which has the Saturday 12:30 slot, Klopp added: "I had a discussion only the other day with colleagues from our favourite TV channel, which I will definitely not watch again, TNT..."
