Barcelona winger is happy because he was able to enjoy vacations in Brazil. But many of his colleagues are in an unstoppable whirlwind
Many footballers, led by Rodri, announced they would go on strike during the FIFA Club World Cup. Alas, fast-forward to today, and they are all playing it.
Raphinha and his team, Barcelona, are not participating, and if you ask the Brazilian, it is not his fault. It is difficult for him to imagine giving up the necessary break in the off-season.

This year, he returned to his homeland. During a guest appearance at an event in Sao Paulo, he talked about various things, including the CWC. It is an understatement to say that he is not satisfied with its extension, mostly because it denied many teams - rest.
"If Paris Saint-Germain win the Club World Cup, it doesn't stop there - immediately after that, they will play the UEFA Super Cup. Everything depends on the point of view. From my point of view, it is very bad to give up rest to play something you are forced to do. At no point did they ask the players if they want. It is up to us to accept it. Giving up rest to play in a new tournament is very complicated," said Raphinha.
The CWC is being played in the United States and it must not be quite challenging for players to put their vacations aside and play in high temperatures:
"Giving up vacations out of obligation is complicated. For example, PSG's Marquinhos and Beraldo played in the Champions League final, and they didn't even get to celebrate properly. They travelled here to South America to play for their national team. The second game ended, and they returned straight to represent their club and play in the Club World Cup. They haven't stopped yet," concluded Barca's winger.
