At least NINE Premier League players are wanted by Saudi clubs

There's been a lot of spending (and overspending), but it's not over. The Saudis aren't joking around and are prepared to emulate last year's transfer window in a bid to get high-profile players to come and play in their little playground.

The Saudi Pro League is reportedly gearing up for another big raid on the Premier League, with several top players potentially targeted for moves to the Middle East. This follows last year's influx of English top-flight stars like Jordan Henderson, Edouard Mendy, and Riyad Mahrez.

According to ESPN, at least nine players are on the radar of Saudi Pro League teams, including some high-profile names from the Premier League. Liverpool's Mohamed Salah is among the main targets, especially with Liverpool facing a transition period as manager Jurgen Klopp departs at the end of the season. Despite previous speculation linking Salah to the league, Liverpool rejected a lucrative offer for him just over six months ago.

Salah's Liverpool teammates Alisson Becker and Virgil van Dijk are also reportedly subjects of interest, with uncertainty surrounding their future at Anfield following Klopp's departure.

Manchester City's Kevin De Bruyne and Bernardo Silva are reportedly high on the wish lists of Saudi Pro League clubs, along with Manchester United's captain Bruno Fernandes and midfielder Casemiro.

Additionally, Fulham's Andreas Pereira is said to be in high demand, rounding out the list of players being monitored by teams in the Saudi Pro League.

The league's significant summer spending, amounting to $960 million, ranks second only to the Premier League's $1.4 billion globally, highlighting its financial capabilities and ambition to attract top talent from England's top division.
