Retirement can wait – Neuer to stay at Bayern for at least one more year

Bayern Munich are on the verge of agreeing a new one-year contract with veteran goalkeeper Manuel Neuer, ensuring the club captain remains at the Allianz Arena for at least one more season.

According to Kicker, the extension is expected to be finalized soon and could be officially announced in the coming days. The deal would allow Neuer to continue what is widely expected to be the final chapter of his illustrious career in Munich.

Despite turning 40 and dealing with several injury setbacks in recent years, Neuer remains convinced he can still perform at the highest level.
