Ruaraka grounds earmarked to host league matches
Tusker chairman Daniel Aduda has assured Football Kenya Federation Premier League (FKF PL) clubs that the Ruaraka grounds has been facelifted to host top flight matches.
The venue which was black listed two years was earmarked to hold top flight matches following the resumption of sporting activities after a sixth month break.
The league body is understood to have settled on the venue to solve the scarcity of standard playing surfaces.
Aduda said that FKF through their Stadia Safety and Security Committee had inspected the facility and given it a clean bill of health and hence players should feel free to express themselves on the pitch.

“We worked on the playing surface when sporting activities were suspended. FKF through their stadia committee did an inspection and were satisfied with the suitability of the ground in hosting matches. Players should not be worried of picking injuries as the surface is good enough just like the other venues which they played in before the break,” he said
The administrator challenged the title chasing Tusker to capitalize on the return of action at the venue and intensify their search for the twelfth league title. He called on the players to fortify the grounds by ensuring visiting teams bow to them.

“Teams are bound to struggle in the first weeks due to the fact that there was a long period of inactivity. However, it is my prayer that our players will take advantage of the return of matches at our home ground and extend the good run we had before the break,” he stated.
