David Raya's departure from Brentford is weaved with illogicalities. By agreeing to the loan, Brentford did Arsenal a favor to make it easier for the Gunners to meet Financial Fair Play regulatives.

As Raya entered the last 12 months of his contract with the popular Bees this summer, according to the Athletic, he will first extend his cooperation with Brentford (it is not specified for how long), and then complete his loan to Arsenal, where he will have tough competition in Aaron Ramsdale.
